A Thank You: £352 Raised for Action Cancer

Throughout May, Milk & Honey marked Skin Cancer Awareness Month by supporting Action Cancer, a local charity providing cancer prevention, detection and support services across Northern Ireland.

For every client who visited the clinic during May, £1 was added to their bill, with all contributions going to Action Cancer.

Together, we raised £352.

Why Skin Cancer Awareness Month Matters to Us

As an advanced skincare clinic, skin health is at the heart of what we do.

While much of our work focuses on concerns such as pigmentation, ageing, sensitivity and maintaining healthy skin, we also believe strongly in encouraging greater awareness of the skin — including noticing changes and seeking appropriate medical advice when something doesn't look or feel right.

May's Skin Cancer Awareness Month gave us an opportunity to support that wider message while raising funds for a local organisation doing important work in our community.

£1 From Every Client Bill

Rather than holding a separate fundraising event, we kept things simple.

Throughout May, £1 was added to every client bill, meaning everyone who came through the doors of Milk & Honey that month played a small part.

Those individual pounds quickly added up and, by the end of the month, we had raised £352 for Action Cancer.
